Andy Walker

Andy is HABC’s lead subject matter expert for the area of door supervision and has also co-authored a number of Highfield security products including the Door Supervisors Course Book and Safety Awareness for Door Supervisors. He is a former police officer with over 20 years’ experience working within the private security industry.

Andy was one of the SIA’s first consultants when the Private Security Industry Act was first implemented, and now sits on several of the sector working groups, advising on future training requirements. He has authored several books and articles in security magazines on training within the sector.
